By registering for these forums you agree that you are 13 years of age or older, and that you have read and will abide by the following forum guidelines:
1. Play nicely with others. Keep the drama to your own livejournal. If you're an adult, act like it. If you're not an adult, pretend you are. Be respectful of other people's lives, beliefs, and choices, even if you don't agree with them. Racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, sizeism, ableism, and other forms of discrimination or bigotry are not welcome here. No proselytizing.
2. One username per person unless you have multiple people living in your head. Please don't share your account with someone else; if they want to post, they can register too.
3. No seizure-inducing graphics. Kythryne reserves the right to delete any images that are excessively animated. The blink tag is verboten too.
3a: No third-party smilies. In addition to most of them breaking the excessive animation rule, it's also a security risk for our visitors -- a lot of the smiley sites are actually spyware of various sorts. (I also don't want to hotlink graphics from other boards, which I've seen happen in a couple of places.) Please use the smilies included in this software, or even better, be old-skool and make up your own text smilies. %-)
4. If it's not safe for work, mark it as such and put spoiler space above it so people don't accidentally look at teh nekkid at work.
5. Keep your sig short and image-free. If your sig is consistently longer than your posts, you'll be asked to edit it down to a more reasonable size.
6. Pimpage is fine in your sig. See item 5 regarding sig size. Spammers will be banned, so don't bother posting ads for viagra, gambling, manhood enlargement, stock tips, pr0n sites, or other things that we can easily find just by checking our email. Etailers, please do not start topics about your product or services. You are welcome to participate in a discussion of your company if one already exists, but don't use this site as a place to blatently promote yourself.
7. Profanity is fine in moderation. If you feel compelled to curse at length, please do so creatively. Bonus points if it's in more than one language.
8. If you're selling or swapping a piece of jewelry that you purchased from us, it must be priced at or below the original price you paid. If you're selling or swapping other products, please don't engage in price-gouging.
9. If you have a problem with your order or something else that could be called a customer service issue, please email one of us about it. We don't bite, and we do our best to keep our customers happy.
