Oh, that's very neat.  I had a bag like that, years ago.  No idea what happened to it, but it was very handy when I was traveling all the time.

Oh wow, that bag is amazing!  Does she have a website, 'cause I really want one.  Or two.

Rather unfortunately, last I knew she does not sell through a website. You might be able to email her, though, for a current inventory. Her address is pencella@excite.com (well, the one I have on the bag I bought a year ago, and AFAIK she still sells there).

T- 2 weeks.  Approximately 3 weeks ago I was inspired to get my ears pierced so I could finally wear these  nuclear sunrise earrings

I am growing impatient!  Just curious if anyone else was inspired to pierce or otherwise adorn their body due to WS?

The women at Piercing Pagoda had a good chuckle at the 35 yr old coming in to get her ears done for the first time right after the 2 month old... (and I already have an eyebrow ring, amusing!)

I finally got around to taking a photo of the jewelry bag I use to store my shinies. A woman in the Pike Place Market in Seattle makes these, and they're just wonderful.

Shiney Bag!

There's a series of pouches along the inside, and then it's a drawstring to close it. Perfect for travel and display as well as storage.

Oh my god, I love that bag! And I've never seen them at the market (I, too, am in Seattle *waves*). I'm going to have to look for her next time I'm down there. Such a great storage solution. And so pretty!

dayo - I just love that you got your ears pierced in honor of WS! A very good cause, indeed. :)

I'm so, so excited. I've been eyeing Crosswalk #1 since it originally went up. Since it was on sale tonight, and I had a paypal balance to cover all but shipping for it, I finally purchased. Squee! B)

Endangered Octopus Tree!  Kyth thought my fluorite wanted to be a prototype for a new series and then it looked more like an octopus than a tree, so it got leaves added and then the shell and, lo ... the Endangered Octopus Tree is born.

I think that Kyth definitely needs to make more of these for the site.  *grins widely*

My latest custom (posting it here since it wasn't in the photostream, and don't we all like showing off our latest shiny?  :p )

Shiny!  Those crystals made it hard to photograph in the sunlight since they catch the light so well.

And one more out of direct light to show the wirework in detail.

As I told other people, tree pendants are my weakness and I probably would've bowled people over in my haste to get this had it been part of an update  :D

Oh, that's lovely! I'm a sucker for trees, too.

For those of you in the Seattle area who were wanting a jewelry bag like I posted, the artisan who makes them was in the market on July 20th, and I spoke to her briefly. She indicated she'd not been able to be in the market lately, hence her noticeable absence when anyone else went to find her. However, it sounds like she's trying to be there more often, so you may be able to catch her again.

(I bought a third bag, a lovely piece in dark wine-red taffeta. :O)

Hey!  Wanna see the AMAZING engagement necklace that Kyth made, from my boyfriend's (now fiance', I guess. :) ) design?  It is here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/emilytheslayer/sets/72157607061821602/

They managed to keep this secret ALL SUMMER!  Thank you Kyth, I love it so much. :)

And of course I said yes, how could anyone say no to that?

I have two shinies to show off!  A little hard to see and unfortunately I didn't notice the purple one was a bit skewed when the pic was taken.  I wore both of these to Dragoncon this past weekend.

Here's the 30 for 30 Alchemy of time pendant, worn at Dragoncon. I was requested to make a scowly demon face...Scary, isn't it? :)

This is the custom piece done months ago to match my mask, it ended up being the perfect transition from the lighter purple of the mask to the darker purple of the corset.
